LOL. We shall see but leave it to Loco to throw shade at the one song on the re-up that gets praise by critics and non-fans in addition to fans.

OMG. Funniest post of the day. I remember when she tried to lose weight a couple years back thinking that was going to do the trick.

Wait until AI...she is going to show that too middle America.
Also, as I stated before she will start debuting her looks from her line on AI in March...excellent cross promotion...the video and single will be released for High school by then and her look will be advertised for her new line. Hoping for a summer release so that she does a 2nd fragrance release in the fall. Wigs in 2014 but isn't terrence doing it...he has no name but I wonder what's going to happen there?

+1, but the average person defines Nicki on her singles, & the way she dresses. They don't take the TIME to research her music, interviews, etc. to find out more about her personality & who she is as an artist.
This is why I'm so happy for Idol because it's giving her a platform to show AMERICA who she is & prove those negative misconceptions of her wrong.

True...people are fickle. the media controls the perception and can make/break you.

I understand. I still think she has dislike attached to those songs because she was played into doing more pop songs in the beginning by Dr. luke and then when he pushed for VVV to be the first single something in her clicked and she realized his set up. I think that she was going more hard core with like 3 crossover tracks and Dr. Luke was going more crossover with like 3 rap tracks and eventually saw that he had his underhanded motives. Thus she ended up doing more hip hop doing roman reloaded, champion, hov lane and beez later.
Dr. Luke did something similar with Britney and Femme fatale.he was more there to push his agenda and push his up and coming producers. Britney released this flop song called 'Criminal' when Dr. Luke was pushing for Inside out (which to be honest should have been a single) and Drop dead beautiful which is basic as f. Both songs included either his input and/or his protege producer billboard.
I'm telling ya'll she has business issues with Dr. luke which is why she placed emphasis on loving, trusting and feeling Redone was actually geniune.
Sometimes you have to read between the lines.
Keeping in mind Dr. Luke and Katy thing...he definitely has some underhanded things going on with him. He produces good results but still.
Although Va va voom would have been the boring, expected way to start off the era...as an artist she needed to release SH to get that off her chest. I still think this era would have been better (1M sales by now if they did it like this
Starships should never had existed.
Kept SH and RR as promo singles and Roman holiday as Grammy performance
Winter urban single Right by my side. Was not right for late spring/summer and to be honest they relied too much on Chris brown's comeback in 2011...that was only going to last for a minute anyway.
late winter/spring to pop
Pound the alarm as first pop single. Had enough rap verses and dance to be a crossover hit especially for the spring and summer. Was not as big because it sounded too similar to starships.
The backlash would have been there but not nearly as much.
2nd urban single Beez in the trap. I only like the first 2 minutes but it was a bonafide hit.
2nd pop single Va va voom. Great summer single. If it peaked at 22 with no promo it would have been a sure fire top 3 hit in the summer.
3rd urban single I am your leader. Perfect for the fall.
3rd pop single. Young forever. Perfect for the fall.
4th urban single Champion. Perfect for the winter
4th pop single. Marilyn monroe. Perfect for winter.
5th urban single. Hov lane. Closer
5th urban single. Whip it.
But hindsight is 20/20.
