10. ONE DIRECTION- What Makes You Beautiful (56.64%)
One Direction sets a record for their debut single, What Makes You Beautiful lands in the top 10 for the second year in a row. The song just dips a notch after a surprsing #9 finish last 2011. Indeed, it was a phenomenal 2012 for these lads. Will the momentum finally end here or can they bag the Favorite Band/ Group of 2012? Find out in the next updates.

09. CHER LLOYD f/ BECKY G- Oath (62.20%)
Teen tandem Cher Lloyd and Becky G, set a good impression for many artists out there as their collaboration soars inside the top 10. Even up to now, if you check my weekly countdown, it is still charting for more than 13 weeks. That’s a huge proof on how I am still enjoying this friendship anthem. Sad, that American radio paid this song dust. Expect two more songs from the X Factor Season 7 finalist.

08. MAROON 5 f/ WIZ KHALIFA- Payphone (68.41%)
With a distant lead over the #9 song, Maroon 5 and Wiz Khalifa finishes at the #8 spot this year. The team up peaked at #1 on my daily countdown for more than 10 days, giving them a spot in the top 10. Unlike others, I actually prefer this more than “One More Night” maybe because Adam’s part is just so relaxing in this track. Plus it always helped me set a mood to study.
