We're Loving Nicki Minaj's New, Simplified Style For 2013

We've barely made a dent into the new year, but we can already tell that Nicki Minaj has committed to a serious fashion resolution for 2013. As the rapper made multiple appearances over the last few days, we started to notice Barbs' typically outrageous Harajuku-inspired style (think: furry hot pink hoodies, printed pants and moon boots) has been swapped out for sleeker, simpler ensembles. Barbz ditched her sky-high, Judy Jetson cotton candy pink and green wigs for a more subdued black 'do with blunt bangs or a soft, center-parted blonde look, which we love.
On January 8, she stepped out in a simply AMAZING black lace shift with a gold chain, gold cuff, and killer strappy platform stilettos. She kept her beauty game simple with a light pink lip and thick lashes, which we think totally shows off her naturally-gorgeous features. And, um, when's the last time we saw Nicki in black hair?! LOVE. On Wednesday, she went for a more colorful, colorblocked red, yellow, and white bandage dress that showed off her mind-blowing curves and toned gams. She didn't wear any jewelry to distract from her statement-making frock, but opted for a hot pink pout and silvery-blue shadow. Earlier this week, we fell in love with her printed, body-con dress that she complemented with nude pumps and, well, not much else. LET THAT NATURAL BEAUTY SHINE THROUGH, GIRL.
