EXCLUSIVE: Britney Spears has signed with CAA in all areas worldwide. She was with WME. After a season as a judge/mentor on Fox’s The X Factor, Spears is moving on. She is working on her 8th album, collaborating with Will.i.am and producer Hit-Boy. I hear she is also exploring doing a scripted comedy series, where she did well received guest stints on Will & Grace and How I Met Your Mother several years ago, as well as potential Las Vegas residency for a music show.
Surprised her team would even consider a Las Vegas show. That's basically reserved for when you aren't relevant in mainstream music anymore or are choosing not to release music anymore but can still pull in a touring audience.
Regardless I hope she keeps branching out to new producers for the 8th album. I'mma need a very experimental record.
