imo break the ice, perfect lover and blur are 3 of her best songs ever. she shines in those songs, perfect production and her vocals are outstanding.

They are some of her best songs...her best 3 urban pop songs by far. These songs show that she can be versatile and not just do dance pop or pop anthems. her vocals and vibe on each song are magic.

Loving the support for Break the ice. My mom even likes this song and doesn't use Britney.

True. X factor is too limiting. As I said back in the spring of last year, this was a move for middle America and others to see that she could pull this off without a meltdown and that she isn't crazy (not that she ever was...she was just doing her) anymore because even with 5+ years of staying out of trouble middle America acts as if she is pulling Lindsay lohan stunts every other month in some other crap. She expanded her audience...it became cool for non-fans to like her and respect her and then with Scream and shout people are cool with liking a Britney song. It's onward and upward from hear. I completely expect 1.5M+ sales and I'm not exaggerating. She will probably set up her release much like Pink with the September release. Pink is already around 1M sold and is halfway through her era. No wonder Mariah released her albums around that time. It really doesn't lengthen your era.

I have a feeling that as long as they don't change the direction last minus a la August 2010 just to say look at me I was the first to start this trend then she will be proud of the work and promote it. I honestly think that is why she doesn't promote. She likes all of her stuff but she promotes and boasts about what she is proud of.
She is proud of 'Britney'
She is proud of "in the zone'
She was proud of 'Blackout' but we all know the story there
She wasn't proud of her first two records.
She wasn't proud of Circus evident in her ONLY performing the singles in the tour
She wasn't proud of Femme fatale because she wanted to go in a different direction.
I think she will get what she wants moreso than not this time and will want to promote more.
She doesn't need to set a trend this time. You can't every era but she does need to grow musically so that when a real shift comes she can stay ahead of it. Some are saying R&b will come back soon so she is staying ahead of that curve.

Beyonce is the queen of r&b for the 21st century. Many real R&b heads question that but she is to the masses. Britney is the queen of pop for the 21st century. Beyonce fans are greedy and want Beyonce to be both. They had no problem with Beyonce being inspired by some of Britney's old performances, interview techniques and looks at her peak and when Britney was 'retired' they thought Christina shot herself in the foot so Beyonce will undoubtedly take the thrown: she will start being the #1 female seller of her time, she will have the performances that were water cooler conversation and mimicked for years to come, she will have the pop culture moments that will be conversation pieces where people will remember where they were when said situation happen, she will know when to set trends and when to just focus on stepping up creatively, she will continue to succeed in all of her ventures without people exposing the underbelly (inspirations, songwriting credits, no top 10 hot 100 hit eras etc)...and that didn't happen. People were fascinated throughout Britney's journey and even respect her more now and start to appreciate her contributions to music. They respect her creativity and originality way more than some and she has reinvented herself to remain a mainstay in pop culture. Britney continues to add to her impressive catalog with memorable videos, music, moments and all that jazz.
Britney's videos are not only relatable, memorable and iconic but they represent Britney at a specific phase in her career. They are snapshots in time...bubble gum pop princess with youth and energy, good girl with a wink coming into her own, pre-rebellion teen angst, college experimental phase, burnt out rebellious, destructive I don't care phase, the comeback and so on and so forth...in addition to the many images and concepts...they are yearbooks into pop culture and brand Britney Spears which is why they are on another level in comparison to any of her peers and that's me being objective. Beyonce makes good videos but very few are a keyhole into brand Beyonce...moreso it's above selling to a large market of woman anthems that appeal to them.
I mean Britney could only do Baby one more time/Crazy her first era, She could only do Oops.. and lucky at the peak of her career because they represent the flirtatious, good girl with a wink and the being so lucky to be a star phase of her career. She could only do Slave and Not a girl and overprotected during her coming into her own and transitional phase. She could only do toxic during her college experimental phase and her Everytime response to the timberlake breakup. She could only do My prerogative during pre-Keven federline days. She could only do gimme more during her self destructive girl gone wild phase.
For instance, would it make sense for Beyonce to release single ladies after being in a 6-7 year relationship with Jay z or irreplaceable for that matter but she did it because it appeals to a large female audience and the videos are really good but it's about the wide appeal and not about Beyonce or even brand beyonce snapshot in time. Once I actually remember Beyonce's videos, I can't go through her catalog and look at it like a snapshot in time or yearbook on pop culture. Just similar woman anthems re-phrased and re-tooled.
Britney will continue to get #1 albums, #1 singles and will statistically be the best selling female artist of the 21st century generation.

Britney has that trouble, right. LOL.
I feel like I'd rather her do an interview AFTER she 's removed from the conservatorship
