Aren't her songs catchy enough ? Isn't she young enough ?
The biggest (or one of) Popstar in the world deserves better TBH.
They all can count on radio for longevity, she can't, why so unfair ?
Hac didn't really start supporting current pop stars songs until 2010/2011 which is why songs like wide awake and wfl have huge radio peaks but songs like poker face and bad romance have considerably snaller peaks. Gagas singles off btw weren't as pop friendly and she relied a lot heavier on hac play with btw, y&I and teog.
Have you seen her Pop radio history? Her first 6 singles went to #1. She gets as much radio support as possible with her songs. Her music doesn't appeal to urban or hot ac or country like the other girls.
Sis this is serious. It's unfair that my fave has to do performances on EVERY single TV shows just because radios don't want to play her songs like they should.
The music itself. She needs to work on crafting catchy melodies and really strong hooks at a much higher level than what she has done. That is the biggest flaw in her discography. Gaga has some of that, but not enough. That is why she lags behind Katy Perry, Rihanna and even Ke$ha when it comes to radio play. She can regain airplay depending on the material.
Even with her limited airplay compared to her contemporaries, Lady Gaga is the only current pop girl to have 3 singles sell over 6 million copies individually in the United States It just makes her success even more astonishing and commendable

And where were those Pop radios during the BTW era ? Weren't her songs "pop" enough ?
She doesn't have airplay like them because she is not really a radio artist.
That's because Gaga had to work her a$$ of performing on everywhere.
Imagine if Poker Face had the support of the other gurls ? The song would be 7x (or maybe more) platinum already.
It just makes her success even more astonishing and commendable
