She got some good press with the Cosmo article making the media rounds, keeping her name out there in the public. Stronger passed the 4 million mark last week and with the announcement she's singing at Obama's inauguration.... come on grammy voters give her at least one!!

And CMB's peaks are comparable to DS's peaks and is even higher in some countries. In the end, CMB will sell more, have more radio play, sit at a highee peak and add to Kelly's collection of #1s.
If CMB ends up being a pretty decent hit in the US then it won't matter that Dark Side barely outpeaked it in some countries. Dark Side's global performance wasn't good enough to outdo a hit in the States
Yes lpd, but as I previous said: LOCAL moderate hit.
I'm not denying CMB's success in the U.S, i'm very happy for it, but the fact is DS impacted a lot more around the world, outside of the U.S, it's hit potential was much bigger than CMB's. Not to mention DS was a 3rd single with minimal backing from the label to actually make it a hit. CMB was a lead single with an album resting on it.
That's all.
And let's not forget that Dark Side had less promo and was a third single, while CMB , a lead single had Ellen, Ama and the voice
I love that Stronger reached 4 million so effortlessly though. It had less than half the promo Home had. Home is like on every other ****ing commercial and the women's gymnastic team *****d it out.
