Being gay definitely helped me see things differently while becoming open minded in other fields. If it was this easy to become straight, 75%-95% of gays would take it.

I'm going to sound like some preacher but

I Can tell you know that it's not a natural life style to live, all you need to do is fight those urges and the more you do the stronger you will become until one day you will be able to control it and leave that lifestyle. It wont be easy it will be the hardest thing you do but it can happen. No pill can change something as big as that.

It's not about fighting my 'urges' or attraction to men, it's about obtaining the same urges and attraction for women.

At an earlier time in my life I would have said yes.

But now, absolutely not. I want to fall in love and be in a relationship with a man. Even if something could make me physically attracted to women, I don't think I would be happy with a woman.

I honestly can't understand this statement. I don't understand how being gay is unnatural, for one, but I also don't understand how you think these "urges" can be controlled; most people who try to do that rather than accepting themselves just end up even worse in the end. I mean, I respect your religious belief and don't mean to challenge that aspect of your statement, but you're giving potentially harmful advice... would you not rather become comfortable with who you are than try to change that and almost inevitably have that backfire?

I think what you want is a traditional family with a woman that you love instead of a relationship with a man, but you feel that sexual urges towards men are hindering you.

You are the first person I have ever encountered to actually believe this sort of thing. I have so many questions, I don't even know where to begin:

Why do you think you have those urges? Do you think everyone has those urges, or is it just some people? Are you happy suppressing the urges? Do you enjoy sex with members of the opposite sex and do you get sexually aroused naturally? Will you tell any future wife about your urges? What would you do if you have a child who had the same urges but decided that he/she was going to act on those feelings? Do you believe in evolution?
