I love evanescence, but this song is really hard to sing, but her voice is bad

This has been a terrible year for her... such a shame because I love Evanescence. It doesn't help that Good Enough will most likely be their 3rd flop in a row...

What happened to the band? Haven't heard much about Evanescence in a long time.

Lithium & Sweet Sacrifice flopped in USA.

Lithium was a MEGA HIT here in Brazil and Latin America.

Sweet Sacrifice hit high positions on the countdowns too.

Flopped in USA but in the rest of the world I don't think so. At least in Mexico, Evanescence is programmed in spanish stations. And only a few artists that sing in english are programmed (like Simple Plan, Robbie Williams, Christina Aguilera)

Just look at Anastacia, she is big in Europe and Asia

The thing is, Fallen only had one more hit than The Open Door. I don't think "Call Me When You're Sober" was as huge as "My Immortal" or "Bring Me to Life", but did the other Fallen singles have any impact on pop radio? I'm not sure why anybody thought The Open Door would be a mega-seller. We're not in 2003 anymore, so nearly 2 million is not a bad thing.

amy lee is amazing in studio...i have their live-dvd, and she basically sucks when she stands up and sing, she does it ok when sitting by the piano and doing stuff like "my immortal"....love her, but mostly, her live vocals are suckage

the only hit from the open door (an amazing album) was "call me when your sober"...lithium and sweet sacrifice didn´t even enter the top 40 WW chart....

and bring me to life wasn´t just a hit, it was the #1 hit of 2004 (and the most successful foreign single the last 30 years in sweden, which is pretty cool)

Totally agree.. in this recording she was exceptionally bad, but she's never been a great live singer.

The album basically sold those 4.2 million copies thanks to "Call Me When You're Sober."

^exactly, evanescence is an "album-band" not a "singles-band"...one can´t deny the drop from fallen´s sales tho....14 millions to 4,2 :/
