Stupid girl MADE her comeback! anyway Dr.Luke/Martin really help her..but..her last album is working without them(**** like you will probably not even be a single)...So what's your point? Xtina recently worked with Max Martin..but it didn't work as well by now..
Stupid Girls was not her comeback. U + Ur Hand was.
My avi showcases P!nk's amazing 'dance' skills.
Apache is a 'dance' form. This forum has a very restricted view of what dancing is or may be. It's more than booty shaking and hair flipping.
still ignoring the main statement I made there She did ditch her dancing years ago. Yes I get the Try performance is a form of metaphoric dancing, but she doesn't do her choreographed dance routines anymore. Her dancing on the Janet tribute show was amazing.
Working with Max & Luke definitely helped her remain a strong radio presence. She was smart to use them. But not everyone who works with them can move albums - look at Ke$ha.
But, I thought she was always consistent and never changed.
She's most of the biggest changed artists right now. "Can't Take Me Home" is way different compared to "The Truth About Love". She's defiantly changed. Yes, I understand that was the label who manufactured that Pink in the day but she still has changed, no matter how one tries it.
She has never "competed" with neither Britney nor Christina.
P!nk has always been on her own, her own "underdog"... She might as well be another "anti-Britney".

UWC Peaks:
Stupid Girls: #1
U+Ur Hand: #15
Stupid Girls also sold more.

She ditched a certain kind of dancing. Not dancing in general
She changed with the trends. In 2010 she worked with Max Martin since it was the trend. With her latest album (especially Blow Me) she used more radio friendly beats/synths. When pop-rock was big in the early/mid 2000's, she did that. The thing about Pink, she still finds a way to keep her signature "Pink" sound.
Other pop-rock artists like Avril for example, haven't found a way to do that and are stuck in the pop-rock genre.
