Yes, we were spending way too much time moderating an "unmoderated" thread. It was dumb.

Kind of defeats the purpose. And therefore, the reason for the existance of the thread.

An easy solution to that would have been DO NOT MODERATE IT
Open NHB and merge it with SYG. Win win.

And thread-ban anyone who comes in here to report and cry about being insulted like a little baby.

NHB its return is approaching.

I offered a great solution awhile back aswell, make NHB and SYG invite only.
Those two threads wont be seen publicly(if your concern is that), and only with special permission and request will you be granted access. "Bitch" about anything happening in those threads will cause permanent removal of said thread.
You will have less bitching TRUST me.

Its a very simple fix,
As admin make a "spacial group" and only drop in the members that are granted access.

Now give me the smiley I have been requesting.

It was an unfair ban but I didn't fight it.
If at most it should have been a one month ban, like its been in the past(prior to my ban).

While I would never personally object to such a free for all, a thread like that is no longer appropriate for a forum like ours. Besides, the final decision to get rid of NHB had already come from higher up, as its disgusting content violated many AdSense policies. The inability of people to use NHB correctly simply hastened the inevitable.

Also, nothing on the forum can truly be unmoderated, as illegal file sharing and explicit material must always be removed.

It would be a clique thread and those are boring as hell. SYG needs lurkers and randoms to be any good.

They could view SYG logged out in Firefox and then report posts by using Chrome. And we don't want to hide a flagship thread like SYG.

I guess a ban from HQ could work. Maybe a standard one day ban from HQ whenever you report an innocent SYG post.

To be honest, if 90% of your posts are in SYG, you should just be perma'd anyway. It's not like you're going to contribute anything to the site.

I'm not talking about NHB. It's gone for good. It will never return.
