The Arcade Fire have something to say about it.
Elsewhere,
Plain White T's continue their miraculous run and best their previous peak of #7, while
Avril Lavigne scores her best charting single since
Nobody's Home. We also see some impressive gains from the likes of
Linkin Park and
Bedouin Soundclash.
Another busy week in the debut department as a trio of new tracks barrage the chart. The first comes from the
Foo Fighters, with
The Pretender. The track is so incredibly rawwkk that it blows my mind. We also have another new Canadian band,
IllScarlett, whose debut single off their sophmore disc is a heavier dosage of rock than their previous efforts. Last but not least, the latest from
Daughtry with a single that is far catchier than
