I'm a huge stan who tries to justify everything Gaga does but I will lose so much respect for her if she keeps the guns after signing that petition to stop gun violence. I just... She has to have more respect than that.

It's a prop, not a real gun. Americans are so over-sensitive and overly-politically correct, it's almost sickening.

To make it more ironic, it's the same country that buys up Grand Theft Auto and violence-filled movies. I have no issue with her using guns, and I'm a big gun-control advocate.

If she sells 4M (and 90% she will) the top3 year-end is on lock. That would keep her streak going.

Gaga could do 800k in Japan at the least if the music is friendly.

She visited countries around the world where there's shootings and homicides everyday, yet she kept the guns on the show.

It's important to realize she may still use them. She's said that her work as an artist is separate, which indicates she may have very different ideas from yours on whether she'd be disrespectful by keeping the guns. I think it will be wise for her to remove them, but we have to realize that she very well might not, though I understand your strong feelings on the issue.

They're just very loyal and supportive so as long as she promotes I don't think she would have any troubles

@Bryan. I do think she will promote there since it is a key markey for her right now. She outsold even some huge local acts with btw.

I remain highly optimistic, and perhaps delusional, as I think she could very well get the year end #1 globally.

With proper handling of the era, of course.

What a dangerous assumption to make

This year, not counting 21 which won't be here next year (hopefully ), 4m would have been enough to snatch the #1 spot. So yeah, I think she can. Another story would be outselling btw.

So let's see what we could be looking at:

1.75 million US (and she could do better)
750k UK?
700k Japan
200k Germany?
150k France?
140k Australia?

That's about 3.2 million from just some of the biggest markets, even accounting for possible decline from BTW. I think she could do very well this year with a good era.
