I mean, to some degree he's correct. Our economy might temporarily recover, but at some point someone has to realize that spending so much money has to stop. A debt that exceeds the nation's GDP, the largest in the world, is just laughable.
What is this $10 billion going to be spent on, specifically? Because I wouldn't support it blindly under the balloon of Sandy Relief.
My one annoyance is that I feel as if we have handed out similar (and larger) aid packages to foreign nations in recent times following national disasters, which complicates the situation.
