Discussion: Scone or Biscuit????

OK,it's already been known on here that our friends over in the UK and Australia do NOT get to have the experience of trying the American biscuit.

BUT I looked it up on Google and found that a Scone is SIMILAR in appearance and taste to the biscuit (Notice I said similar and NOT exactly the same as scones are Pastries and Biscuits are BREAD)

If you tried both which do you prefer?
If not what do you call them?
Who makes the best biscuits?

PS Biscuits can be eaten a variety of ways (with Jelly,with Gravy,as a bread,with chicken)

By definition a british biscuit is the correct description simply because English was created in England (funnily enough).

Biscuits. I have never had scones before. Once, this girl bring some to school, but I didn't try 'em; now, I regret not trying them.

I love both. I like how Scones can be sweet as well as not, but then again Biscuits in America are just so versatile.
