No matter how hard you try you will never take our guns

If I had to choose for guns to be legal or illegal, I would choose for them to be legal. If they were illegal and the government told us to turn them in, the robbers and irresponsible ppl will mostly likely keep it to cause more trouble. Now if guns are legal, people can stop the bad people from doing what they are doing. Like, if the principal or some staff members in Sandy Hook Elementary carried a gun, they would stop Adam Lanza from killing most kids that were killed.

Why do you have such awful opinions?

There needs to be some gun control.

I mean having restrictions (is felons can't get guns,passing gun responsibility tests) and taking the really bad weapons (Rocket launers) off the market.

If the really bad guns are being used for collecting,they are not to have bullets

Also,the gun licensing system should change to mirror the driver's licensing system.

And also any known gang/mob members should be banned from acquiring guns.

The idea of teachers carrying guns, weapons which are made to kill people, in schools seems so wrong to me. This is the year 2013 and if places which are supposed to be safe like schools, need teachers to carry guns then there is something seriously wrong with society, or a countries society

Like they care about the law. I'm pretty sure they all have illegally owned guns anyway.

I don't know but maybe the US should take notes of the countries that are on the opposite side of the picture in the OP

there should be a poll of people who own guns for protection asking if theyve ever been in a situation where theyve ever had to use it. my grandparents are in their 70s and have lived it a rough city all their lives never had a problem, never owned a gun. me and my family have been blessed enough to live in a upper middle class neighborhood and have never had anything happen anywhere near us, never owned a gun, never will. I think people exaggerate their need for one.

Assault weapons should be 100% banned, but handguns should still be legal only after passing a more intense background check AND I think that when you purchase a handgun you should also have to buy a safe for it, one of the ones that require a fingerprint and passcode.
