Why is going number one the goal? Odds are she will never be a singles artist like Katy and Rihanna and it will always be hard for her to go number one so easily sans lead single. Top tens are what Gaga gets and that's good enough IMO. I just want good music and videos.

The problem is that she also doesn't get enough radio airplay.
It would be so much easier to chart higher...

Exactly, and that's probably not going to change. I mean, not even her biggest hits received as much radio play as each Rihanna single, but her music was different and made an impact. Now that radio is more important than sales, odds are we will have to settle for top tens.
