Keep in mind I'm being unbiased here, although Lady Gaga is an artist I really like, she is far from being among the artists I stan for...

Why do you have her in your sig then?

Well, she is a pretty solid all-round performer and people pay money to see her, so she deserves the success.

It would be embarrassing if she didn't.

You're still peddling this. you act like there being demand for her to play so many sold out shows is a bad thing.
The BTW has had only 80 dates and is already one of the highest grossing tours of all time, so nice try.

Well then you're missing out on a great experience, TV specials can only show you so much; When you see an artist like Gaga live, it's completely different than seeing the same performance on youtube.
She portrays such energy, such raw talent, and you can actually feel the love she gives and the effort she puts into her performances.
OT Gaga deserves all the praise she gets, she's a phenomenal artist and live, she's even better.

I do agree so much. YT videos really don't do her justice.

I saw the Fame Ball and it was amazing, especially for the price. Great energy/setlist.
I saw the Monster Ball arena tour with ****** seats and I wasn't really into it

I felt that, reading this statement, I should not that she'll have out-grossed all solo females but Madonna and possibly Cher (her receipts are hard to track down so I don't know her total for sure) by the end of this tour, adjusting for inflation but not including residencies.

Wow. But it's only because she does a lot of international dates.

Now you should see the Born This Way Ball to decide.

Yes. My boyfriend is not fan of hers, still we payed the most expensive ticket because of me, and he was kinda regreting it. When the concert ended he was shocked, he couldn't believe that her voice was that good, the huge castle, the lights, the Highway Unicorn (We were in the front row after the monster pit so it was so close, and huge!). He said that besides Foster The People (his favorite band), that was the best concert he has ever been.

The tour started in april 27, 2012 and will end in march 10, 2013. That's not even a full year so yeah, we can say it's a real success.
Besides that, her average gross is 3.2 million per show, more than Britney, Katy, Rihanna, Beyoncé, or any other popstar besides Madonna, so she will still have huge numbers with a few dates.

I would be willing to pay even more than I did for the BTW Ball. Totally worth it.

No, she needs to put out better music to justify her success. Right now it's all a couple good pop songs and oodles of media hype.

That was more about the quality of her shows/her performing skills. I understand that songs are a part of the show but still following that logic we can say the 'Glitter In The Air' Grammy performance wasn't great just because the song itself is mediocre. Besides, her music is great so I don't get the point you're trying to make.

Angry stans still playing the "she does so many dates" card. If I'm correct, she passed the $100 million mark with like 69 dates. She's obviously a touring giant.

Media hype? She's been on a media blackout all year, yet her tour is doing very well. I guess people think her music is good
