Not saying it's great by any means, it's not, but it's understandable.
The people who liked the BTW music already bought it, the people who didn't weren't going to bother regardless and the undecided had nothing to convince them.
It should shift some decent units when ARTPOP wins people back and they give BTW another chance.

Yes Gaga isn't selling TFM numbers at the moment, but let's remember Born This Way was NEVER a commercial album, she intended it to be just for the fans and if it had commercial success then that was a plus, she never sought it.
ARTPOP IS intended to be a commercial album, so you can expect it to pull something along BTW numbers, which aren't that bad considering it has sold around 8,000,000 copies WW, when the BTWB hits NA those numbers might go up, let's just hope for the best and if you're worried about ARTPOP being dubbed ARTFLOP then, be sure to buy the album when it's released.
I bought BTW 5 times because that album means so much to me, it's my favorite Gaga album, yes TFM is more cohesive, but BTW feels more personal to me.
Considering how half of the artists up there are doing I'm not too worried. Just Dance and Poker Face are older than most of those hits too.
If randomly select lots of the songs from top 200 list, her sales still consider poorly performed. Even with older song, less well known artist, no new album release artist etc.
The point is, she should be selling more with poker face and just dance because of the iconic of the song and her own name. But it is the other way round.
