I saw you trying it with Godtendo earlier. I agree that MS is a flop whose fanbase lives off of muliplat games and there is really no reason to buy an Xbox because most of the great games are also released on PS3, but you will not discredit what nintendo has in store. Supre Smash Bros is coming. A new Monolith game is coming. A new Zelda is coming. A game developed by retro studios is coming. The same retro studios that was behind the Metroid Prime trilogy, which continues to **** on your faves to this day.

What happens if your console somehow breaks or irreparably malfunctions? Then even once you get a new replacement console, you can't play the games you legitimately purchased and own?

The rumours were around as old as the the new console wars but considering PS3 and Xbox360 are really close to Wii's software sales with lower userbases than Wii so it's just doubtful they'd do this. Used games are prevented by giving away free codes or additional contents, I mean Gran Turismo 5 has one of the greatest legs this generation and they still sell because of the additional content not found in the original version.
