but a "Mariah performance" or shall I say a singer performance depends on THE VOICE.
If the voice is good then it's a good performance. If it's bad then it's a bad performance.. .simple as that.
You don't need big bombastic production, dancers if you got the voice. Just the microphone.
The reviewer is contradicting himself by mentioning her phenomenal voice which most came to see just that.
This is just ONE review anyway, she got a ton of good press.
