Mods, I thought that inoffensive nicknames were allowed? I said "Lindsariel" in response to a post saying Lindsay Lohan looked like a mermaid because I thought it was a compliment...I'm also a redhead and I've idolized Ariel/the Little Mermaid since I was a child; I don't understand how it's...offensive or...anything like that

I thought the rule was changed with the rule overhaul so as long as it wasn't deity-naming like "xxxallah" or "GODxxx" then it was okay. I can't be hallucinating this. Did the rule just end up changing back again?

But I wasn't using a stan name or hater name, or being disrespectful. I don't understand.
"Stan name" or "hater name" just means positive or negative. But you know what, that's just making it over complicated when it's really not. Mangling a celebrities' name with another word is warnable period.
Funny you mentioned this, a Beyonce stan threatened to stab me in PM's. ATRL just doesn't feel safe anymore.
They take stanning to a whole different level. I too, have received threatening messageS from Beyonce stans. Be sure not to laugh at their PMs. They get even angrier and resort to reporting every post that you make.
For those who are struggling with the updated search functions, don't forget this is still available even with search isn't disabled:
If you do need to search for simple things you can use google.
For example, If I want to find my Homeland TV thread, I can type into the google search bar
"site:atrl.net Homeland" and it will give me that link
So use "site:atrl.net _____" to do your searches in between the wait period.
