She does so many things that go unheard by the press, she's doing it because she's believing in it, not for media attention or to help with her sales.

Whitney. She donated money to Gay Men's Health Crisis, without having a million camera crews there to hand over the check. It came from her heart, she helped gay men out because she had lots of close gay friends and was a kind person. She was also a closeted bisexual or lesbian woman. She never used the gays to further her career like so many other pop divas.

Everytime Gaga helps the LGBT even a little bit, she tends to make a big deal out of it and PR the sh*t out of it, so I don't think it's really that sincere
