Obviously Adele wasn't the primary reason people went to see the movie, but some of you girls are doing the MOST trying to shut her down. She had a hand in the movie's success and there is no denying it.
I honestly question someone for going to see a movie based off a song being featured in it. What kind of ridiculousness....
Great for Adele being able to snatch people's money through movie ticket sales when she isn't even getting the checks for it.
A theme song can play a role in a films success, I guess.
For example, I went to see the first Charlies Angels movie because Independant Woman Part1 had me boppin. It was a fun song, a fun video and transported the mood of the movie. Obviously it was not the main reason I watched the movie but some gurls underestimate the power of a great, fitting theme song.
I am sure many people were pleased to hear a rather traditional bond theme for a change and were attracted by what felt like a remembering of the classics.
