If Jojo's is a "REAL" artist, then she wouldn't need to bite off of someone else's single sucess just to get a quick hit, just because her new album is severly underperforming (due to her label releasing "How To Touch A Girl" over "The Way You Do Me").

I hate to say it, but let Sean Kingston enjoy the sucess of his single instead of saying Jojo's mediocre version is any better tan the original, because both aren't anything special. I'm sure that you might think Jojo's voice is more appealing (really, any voice on this song is UNAPPEALING IMO) but obviously, the song is doing great in the Pop/Urban markets, where as Jojo hasn't recieved any love from either market as of late, so her riding the sucess of HIS hit would seem desperate (which I'm sure she is at this point).

Dude. Opinion based or not, it's obvious who has the better voice. The most annoying thing about the song is Sean Kingston's voice, not even the beats or lyrics. I just find it funny that you attack obviously opinion based posts. I mean everyone does it, but Arith, you more than anyone lately.

How do you know that she covered the song just to steal his thunder and gain success for herself? Artists covering other current mainstream artists isn't really a big deal, and usually doesn't reap any kind of reward. She wanted to go into the studio, and try a reggae vibe. That's fine. I highly doubt she will shoot a video for this; if she did, then I'd understand that she is desperate. But the most I can see her getting out of this is minor airplay and perhaps an iTunes release, such as that one guy who covered Hinder's "Lips Of An Angel."
