Judas did fine in europe and south america which has a higher catholic population than the us though. The problen was that BTW was still popular when it released, it leaked early and teog released. After the music video released radio plays shot up as did sales on itunes and then three days later she released teog which killed it.
As for the song, I think sonically and lyrically it pushed buttons and pushed boundaries. I think with proper timming it couldve done moderatlely well in the end but mtn or scheisse wouldve been a better 2nd single choice.
