when an artist has a number one album - you praise the artist.
when an artist has a number one single - you praise the artist
when an artist goes platinum - once again you praise the artist.
"im so proud of ______ " "your fav could never" "she/he is slaying" "my fav has sold more" "my fav never flops" etc
as far as the quality of music goes, by all means if you love it, praise the masterpiece.
as far as the achievements? Album sells, Single sells, Chart positions, etc, why as stans are you giving yourself the short end of the stick? i mean YOU have the power.
you buy the 12.99 albums
you buy the 1.29 singles
you buy the $20 - $200 concert tickets
& then you congratulate the artist after an achievement?
