Now I, as a proud BLACK guy find this very inappropriate for this member getting banned by a oversensitive subjective moderator, especially since the member later explained what he/she meant with that post. My mother is half Indian and half Antillean Creole, while my father is half African and half Hindustani. My ancestors are from France, Turkey, Curacao and Africa. I was born in Suriname, a independent country since 1975 from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We have a estimation of about 40% dark skinned, 25% brown skinned, 15% light brown skinned and 20% white skinned people here.

First, skin color doesn't mean a thing for me. I have a lot of friends, white and black ones. Two of my best friends are black. I've been bullied for about 10 years because I listen to "White" music which is called "Satan's Music". Till this day I can't walk freely playing a Kelly Clarkson or Britney Spears songs when I'm walking alone on the streets, because there will be a 50% chance of someone saying to me that I should listen to Bob Marley, Beyoncé or Jay-Z. In middle school I had two white friends getting expelled for being too "Devilish" because they wore black nail polish. I had black nail polish on as well, but only got a warning. They hardly play any Britney spears, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, Gaga or Katy Perry track here because they are automatically uncool, white and Gay. People like Beyoncé and Rihanna are the most overplayed artists here and are considered the most talented, and one of the biggest icons here while people like Britney and Gaga are Satanic. 3 Years ago I was teased so much for allegedly dating a good friend of mine because she was a lot lighter then me. And then of course you have the "He's a Oreo" and the "He's not proud being black" and let's not forget "He's brainwashed by Satan's/White Music".

In my life, in my world I have hardly seen any racism of white people towards black people compared to black people.There's racism everywhere, of course! But Black people need to STOP acting like they are the victim of racism. There are extreme issues that need to be dealt with, yes some of our ancestors used to be slaves and used to be tortured by white people, but get the **** over it. It's been longer than 300 years! The majority doesn't care about your skin color, yes there are some tools in between but the **** with them. Not because one WHITE person or one BLACK person you knew was a racist, doesn't mean all white and/or black people are racists.

Suriname is not the only place I've experience this. I've experience the same things in Curacao and Miami, and recently a lot on this Forum. I hope and pray that this will be a new years revolution to all of us, RACE doesn't mean ****! White or Black we are ****ing one. Michael Jackson is a legend and he knew he was talking about. Stop being so over dramatic and sensitive about this topic and move on. Let go of all the hate and live your life, cause life is so damn short. Before you know it, you aren't here anymore. Just..... stop. Please.

I agree with a lot of points though, but let's not pretend racism from all sides (white to black, black to white, black to black, asian to white, white to asian, indian, etc etc) is not alive and well.
