Hate to put a damper on the holidays but just wanted to make you aware that there is a possible scam that you should be aware of when looking at your responses to your posts on CL. There is a guy surfing CL men for men postings pretending to be a younger man of legal age that will respond to your post, txt with you, arrange to meet with you, and then suddenly cannot meet up. You will then later (like the next day) be contacted by a man or woman claiming to be a parent, outraged and threatening to send you to jail because the person you were texting with was allegedly, really a minor and underage, and that you have obviously had sex with the young man and he wants to know how long it's been going on. Please note that based upon what I found on the state of NC's website the age of legal consent for NC is currently 16years old (except for teachers, etc.; you should check it out yourself) and interestingly the age he says his "son" really is, is still of legal age even though it is younger than the age you were previously told The caller then will continue threatening and then suggest you provide a financial resolution to "the problem" to get the boy counseling and/or sending him away from the possible "scandal". This guy has attempted this with me a couple of times now with two differently named "sons"....same guy, different burner phones. BEWARE!!!
