I know Mars is talented and funny and kinda original but I just can't stand his voice and his songs to be honest. I liked Grenade and that was the only one I've ever liked from him.

tbh it was one of the few albums released this year that were flawless and perfectly flowing from start to end... its, in every sense of the word, perfect!!

Coexist: What an amazing album! not my type of music, but I love this album. Oliver Sim's voice is just... I don't know, amazing I'm in love with "Fiction" right now, and of course the amazing "Chained"

Never heard of Pierce the Veil before, sounds good, going to youtube later

Haven't heard Bruno's album, but I can't stand his music... I don't know, just can't get into it

I hope you give it another try. I can see why you'd prefer Miguel though, I guess he's a bit more R&B? at least from what I've heard, I haven't listened to his music.

I was also sad when I read that we'd "only" get ten tracks, but I guess ten really great songs are better than 15 mediocre tracks.
I didn't like him when I heard Grenade 'cause that sounded kinda cheesy to me, but after a whole I got kinda addicted to it. Hence I started to like him, especially after I heard his first album, so I was anticipating this one and it was definitely worth the wait

it's okay for some reason I have a crazy memory when it comes to things on ATRL.

to be fair, I think we never talked in the Halcyon thread. that's just where I first started noticing you. (that sounds so creepy ) but when the ACH video came out, you had that avi from it and I didn't give you a 10 when I rated it because it was really long/huge file size and took forever for me to load I had also one from the video but it kinda sucked. that's all I remember

totally agree with you, it's really short but rather a short album than a long one with too much filler material. 10 songs was just the right amount, he must have known that.
yeah, I always saw him as the cheesy love song/ballad guy, even though I thought Grenade was beautiful. I didn't even listen to his first album because of that, now I wish I'd given him a chance back then already but better late than never
