It's because supposedly ATRL's ads are run by Google AdSense which has very strict policies on what content can be present on the sites they sponsor, which also confuses me since I have yet to see any ads. The site is getting bigger. Every month a server is used, it must be paid for. Without enough money to pay for it, the site will shut down. Hence why ATRL+ was added to bring in more money.
I don't see why they just won't get new ad servers and put some banner and text ads on the bottom or sides of pages, to bring in some money so they can upgrade the server. This is the first forum I have encountered that has this problem.
I don't know the whole deal though. It's probably more complicated than what I presume.
Just my take on it.
