Part 1 included tracks that aren't quite popular and known. Part 2 I will be spoiling you guys with the more 'popular' songs/acts that won't make it into the top 20 let alone the top 135.
I liked them but then suddenly they were forgotten or didn't have enough impact on me the entire year.
WANNABES (part 2):
Maroon 5 – One More Night
While everyone was hatin’ on Maroon 5 I was secretly bopping to them… just not enough.
The Wanted – Glad You Came
Songs gets you amped doesn't it? The party didn't last too long as I haven’t played it in such a long time for me to remember to put it on my list.
Nelly Furtado – Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)
It was actually a nice bop but sadly forgotten - on my charts, on the real charts and probably even on your charts as well.
One Direction – One Thing
This was good enough since they were able to get me to download this. But it stops there, I don’t play it often anymore.
Ne-Yo – Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)
The chorus is catchy but there’s nothing else they grasped me, not even the production. I do like Ne-Yo’s voice on dance records though.
Adam Lambert – Never Close Our Eyes
Still don’t understand why this wasn't a hit; it’s appealing but eventually got cut off by other songs on the list.
Carrie Underwood – Blown Away
I’m not the biggest country fan but if you’re someone other than Taylor getting recognition from me then you've done something right.
Chris Brown – Don’t Wake Me Up
I loved it at first but then it got annoying quick.
Ellie Goulding – Anything Can Happen
I didn’t like it at first but then it grew on me, just not enough because it missed the top 135.
Kanye West, Big Sean & 2 Chainz – Mercy
If you would have asked me months ago if this would make my list I would say “hell yeah” but it hasn't grown on me well. Still one of the better Urban tracks this year.
Beyoncé – End Of Time
Amazing song! I was itching for this to be a single, it was actually on my list for a while until it got pushed out as time went on.
Christina Aguilera – Your Body
Nice in the beginning but there were a lot more stronger songs for me and this got lost somewhere out of the top 135.
Ke$ha – Die Young
Had it on replay for one night and one night only. Ke$ha can do much better.
Zedd featuring Matthew Koma – Spectrum
Great song/production but eventually lost interest.
Monica & Brandy – It All Belongs To Me
There was a high hope for a “Boy Is Mine 2.0” and while others were disappointed I was pleased, I enjoyed this. At the end of the day only Brandy was superior enough to make it to my list, alone!
Nicki Minaj featuring Rick Ross & Cam’Ron – I Am Your Leader
I only use Nicki’s verse and the beat, although I do like Rick and Cam’Ron, just elsewhere.
Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
I like you Tay but I felt like I already had my “Call Me Maybe”.
Frank Ocean – Thinkin Bout You
Could have made my list but it’s really old and I’ve moved on.
Cher Lloyd – Want U Back
Nice Brit pop song that I actually forgot about overtime, sorry.
Madonna featuring M.IA., Nicki Minaj & LMFAO – Give Me All Your Luvin’ (Remix)
Yes, the remix! I freaking loved it but then all my attention went to GGW.
Kanye West, Big Sean & 2 Chainz – Mercy
If you would have asked me months ago if this would make my list I would say “hell yeah” but it hasn't grown on me well. Still one of the better Urban tracks this year.
!!! I was shocked how little replay value it had at the end of the year.
Year-End Artist Recommendations (part 1)
Here are some artists that I enjoyed this year that appeared on my countdown so far and that I would like to recommend to you. I also provided some songs that may help you get into them.
See what'cha like or don't like (this is totally optional):
