I agree and tbh if she can keep that dedicated fanbase and continue selling 1.5 million to 2 million albums each era, then she is doing well in this day and age. She continues with her tours, I am fine too!

I honestly think with the right material she can smash again. If she aims for a Kelly Clarkson-esque sound.

When everyone heard WTH two years ago they predicted it would be the first Hot 100 #1 of the year. Polls even voted WTH with the most potential to smash in the new year, then it failed to chart in the top 10. So meh. It's all about the promo!

A great start tbh! Although she needs a better song to smash hard!

I'm not just saying this as a fan, but she has the potential to have a really big era if she plays it right (given that she's one of the biggest Western stars in Japan).

Imagine she regained her audience in the big Western markets, she could have one of 2013's blockbusters.

It'll be successful since people will mistake her for Taylor Swift.

People are mistaking Taylor for Avril now. So I think when she comes on the scene, people will be like, oh this is the REAL Avril.

Hopefully she isn't pushed to release a Top 40 single for the lead.
