I agree, this whole "he released less singles and his hits are more iconic and if you average..." spin is bs, lol. He released almost as much singles as she did and that's excluding the Jackson 5. And there's the same selective choosing that's done with Janet when we begin counting when MJ's career of releasing solo singles (and albums) started and ended. If you look at his discoagraphy he actually has a lot more forgettable songs than Madonna has. I'm not dissing him. I'm just rolling my eyes at the spin.

Madonna has more hits. She has released more albums than Michael did.
Whose hits are better known is debatable. I think most people know MJ songs from only a few of his eras, while Madonna's spread over over 3 decades. Got no receipts, just how I think it is. Clock me if you must.

MJ's hits go from 60's to 2000's.his first number 1 hit was in 1969 !
5 DAMN decades.You Rock my world was a semi hit and it was released in 2001.Billie Jean and Thriller are like the most famous pop songs of all time 
he has way more classsics,and songs way more known.FACT.

I'm sorry but I really don't get how some of those songs count as his "memorable" hits.... Earth Song?
Anyway this thread isn't about memorable hits, it's about hits, and Madonna has more solo than MJ.
