I'm excited for the third album, but also nervous. The third album is usually the 'masterpiece' (in comparison to the earlier albums), and the magnum opus of an artist's discography.

Nicki seems to have a lot of drive and passion for this next album, and you're right, she has something to prove to the urban world. That's a double edged sword, since - as mentioned above - Nicki works best under pressure. But at the same time, I'm a little nervous that the pressure might be too much.

The fact she has so much more to say is comforting, though. There is only so much "LOOK AT MY ACHIEVEMENTS EVERYONE!!!!11111" in her lyrics that I can handle.

I don't check twitter regularly, but I don't even miss Nicki. I wouldn't of even realised that Nicki hadn't tweeted for a month or so if it wasn't for this base. I think it's a good thing that she's gone, since the twitter barbz just kiss her ass and let her create a Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded era.

She needs to be able to hear and accept criticism, as it's better for her in the long run. She even said herself in the American Idol promo that she's been told 'no' a thousand times and she's had to keep trying, and look where she is now. Look at her pre-PF:RR discography. It was awesome. Criticism is GOOD for Nicki because it keeps her on top of her game.

Another female rapper needs to blow up because Nicki works her best when she's got something to prove. "Monster" and "Roman's Revenge" are proof of that, and there is no way she's going to get to that level again if all she gets told is "you're ******** on everyone right now, Nic!".
