Bye at people saying Canada is only cold and boring. The parts where most people live has the same weather as the top half of America. Places like Vancouver and Victoria stay above freezing at most in the winter and every major city gets to 40 degrees Celsius in the summer. (IDK what that is in Fahrenheit). Toronto (the biggest city) has next to no snow on the ground and doesn't get as cold as you think.
It's nowhere near boring here either. Our major cities like Toronto (which is literally the most multicultural city in the world), Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, etc are really big and they have everything an American city would have except less crime and other bad stuff.
America's no longer the best country in the world like it used to be. They're falling slowly from their former glory and being surpassed by places like Canada, Australia, Japan, Norway, etc. We're much much much more liberal and progressive, there's no irrational laws or "rights", there's way less crime, full rights for everyone no matter what, abortion + marriage equality in every province, blah blah blah. Canada is a better place to live.
Educate them.
I think America fantastic though. Canada is just extra fantastic.
For the healthcare and education, Canada.
For the actual cities, USA.
Canada is such a flop though.
So much space yet so little people.
Barely anyone uses it.
Because we can't use the northern part it's way too cold and would be harder to create routes and building because of the ground, only Native people live up there
We're richer, and the majority of our population lives near the border so with our extra wealth we can go visit you guys at leisure. We get all the benefits of equality/healthcare/education and can still casually pop over to the US to take advantage of the lower taxes with our on-par currency (not that it's dramatically lower anyway). One of (if not the most) stable economy in the world, with the most secure banking system. While Europe is in a deep recession and the US is suffering, Canada is barely batting an eyelash at all of this (I have an economics degree, this ish is important to me).
I prefer to live in my spoiled ass country where every kid owns an iPhone and we get our aggression out through contact hockey. Where questioning whether gay people can marry, the value of immigrants and the inappropriateness of bringing religion into any discussion is never questioned. Where your biggest worry is whether the asshole trying to rob you has a handgun (courtesy of smuggling from the States, thanks for that) and whether the NHL will ever come back.
