Lately I've been getting a lot of requests from lyricists to make the music and instrumentals for their song for them. I figured,
Why not make a thread for it a la Sloth's Shop?
And, well, here I am. So if you have lyrics you want made into a song, here's what to do:
1. Post in this thread that you're going to PM me.
2. PM me the lyrics along with a short description of what you want the music to be like (ex. a happy acoustic pop song with a touch of melancholy). Don't PM yourself singing a cappella unless you happened to be using a metronome; if so, also PM me the tempo because I'm not Jesus.
3. Sit and wait.
A couple rules:
1. I will only be working on three different songs at a time, so it may take a while.
2. Also keep in mind I'm still in school, so if you ask me on Monday and I'm busy that week, don't expect anything until the weekend.
3. Really all these rules involve being patient. Again, I am not Jesus.
I'm also only an amateur producer, so don't expect magic to be returned to you. What I am is a pretty advanced songwriter for my age, so the music will probably have lots of accidentals and maybe even a key change or two unless requested otherwise.
