People are really underestimating Diamonds urban power to be honest. And by the way, the song you just named has no urban airplay or hasn't entered the top 50 yet lol. So it has no chance against Diamonds
Diamonds also has a huge urban airplay you guys don't get it or? It received a new peak of 11 on Billboard's official urban airplay chart this week. On Mediabase it's at number 12 on urban airplay chart.
So YEAH it deserves the top spot as urban radios are playing Diamonds hugely. There's also the Kanye West remix which is being played more it seems. But even before, Diamonds went inside the top 30 on the urban airplay chart.
Nothing's ridiculous. Urban radios are willing to play this song. So nope, nothing's wrong with that. Blame the radios if you want..
Even without the new rule, Diamonds would have peaked inside the top 10 on the R&B/Hip Hop songs chart .
