I just... I can't at this counseling thread. People saying it won't help, that it's pointless. Helping kids who suffer from depression is pointless? Helping kids get better is pointless? How heartless are these people?
People will not realize the power of guidance until they fully experience it. The pple who are probably saying that this won't work are probably the ones who've never opened up to anybody about their personal problems. Conversation is Key in fixing things.
In the middle of the tour? How would she promote it, unless she snuck off to do some talk shows while she was in New York. And she'd only be able to play it at the last half of the shows, which is kind of a middle finger to those attending the first half.
Though maybe their gonna release kind of like Madonna did last year. Single in February / Album in April?
Well we got the last lead single with a tour going on until May of that year. The lead doesn't need as much promo as the second single will; we want another "Poker Face", not another "Judas" (though that was due to controversy more than lack of promotion).

You never know. Gaga's unpredictable, she never follow the rules and guidelines of proper releases or whatever project she does.

My thoughts exactly! And the fact that Gaga is doing this will help these kids alone. Who better to help someone with their depression than the person who they look up to the most?

It's actually smart to drop a single during the NA leg. She will be able to drop by certain TV shows when she's in the area to promote and the tour alone could promote it. Better yet, if it and its accompanying video are good, it could promote itself.

I consider Judas to just be a buzz single. The Edge of Glory was the 2nd single.

If she does it before, she can also stop by LA area TV shows too.
i think if they chose the right singles and give them time to smash and die down ARTPOP can easily pull 6 million, it's all about longevity
All of her albums have longevity. Ive said this since the beggining. We wont know BTW's final sales until ARTPOP hits. Remember TFM sold up until BTW released and it shot high up itunes the week before tfm hit. The tour will keep btw selling and it should rise significantly in the us once the tour starts up here. Btw has probably sold quite a bit ww because of her tour especially in areas she hasnt toured extensively like asia and latin america.
I don't understand why longevity is valued so much. Like, if you sell 2m in one week that's still 2m copies sold no matter if you continue to sell well or not. D:

I personally just see it as better because she'll get dragged less if she sells the same but with longevity.
I'm just not speculating anything at this point for what's ARTPOP gonna be like. I mean, look at how Red Lipstick turned out
It feels like we always get stuff wrong when were guessing of her next project's concept, theme and sound. I bet you, her album probably won't even have one single element of EDM in it

It's just for defending our fave that she managed to maintain her sales and figures for a long period of time
