I looked up Teenage Dream on Wikipedia and it says 7 million which is still impressive in the digital age overall
But does Teenage Dream count The Complete Confections as part of the total sales as well?

Yes, and even then it's at about 6 million. Not bad by any means, but certainly not 11 million.
