Will One Direction still be famous in 10 years?
So we all know that
boy
bands
don't
last
long
but do you think 1D can do it? I personally don't think so but let's see what ATRL thinks.

if they can reinvent themselves convincingly to cross-over from their teen girl audience to a wider demographic then yeah. that'll be very difficult though, so i guess it's likely that they won't last beyond another 2/3 years

Honestly, the only boy bands that stood the test of time are West Life, and Take That.

No. I give them another 4 or 5 years maximum and then a reunion tour/greatest hits/reality show 15 years later.

They'll be gone and dropped from their labels in three years. They won't last. They'll eventually want to do new things apart from each other.

Take That actually makes really good, not generic music (see Rule The World.)

A single that came out 15 years after they debuted
Give the kings time to grow.
