#7 - Diplo feat. Nicky Da B - Express Yourself

It was about time someone gave New Orleans Bounce some real shine, and who better to do it than Diplo? I don't even know man, I don't use molly but this song just makes me want to take ecstasy and twerk all night. A perfectly paced track, I love how it builds and breaks down while keeping the breakneck energy throughout. An assclapping national anthem.

#6. Kendrick Lamar not featuring Lady Gaga - Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe

I don't even care that he cut Gaga because this is the best 90s Outkast tea I've heard since Outkast. Seriously, you can just slip this right into ATLiens and Aquemini and it would sound perfect. Isn't that the highest praise we can ever truly give a rap song?

From here on out I'm going to post one of my favorite songs of the year, and one song I think is just atrocious.

#5 (Best) - Frank Ocean feat. Andre 3000 - Pink Matter

A babymaking ANTHEM. Just one of the most perfect, sexual songs of the year. And Frankie O did his part and let Andre 3000 have the entire second half of the song, like any good man should. Andre's guitar solo is a mess but WHATEVER it does not take away from the flawlessness of this track. And something about the fact that Andre was cool with his verse being right before Forrest Gump is great.

#5 (Worst) - will.i.am feat. Britney Spears - Scream And Shout

Its so HARD to believe Lazy Jay (212) produced this. It sounds like every generic crappy dance song will.i.am has made for the past few years. Britney's part blatantly copying a Tulisa guide vocal is also quite the kii. A mess, and of course it is smashing worldwide as we speak.

#4 (Best) - Azealia Banks - 1991

Just a classic track all around. Great beat, and all 3 of her verses are absolutely killer. The structure and pacing is unique, the way it builds is subtle but satisfying, and that opening soundclip of a french restaurant is GENIUS. Its disgusting that a song this excellent can exist and the GP can sleep on it! Definitely my favorite Azealia song, and I truly hope it gets put on her debut so people have more of a chance to realize how amazing it is.
