R&B seems too plain for me, or at least this type. Alternative R&B is solid though. But they should all be album tracks and at best promo/urban singles.

Kelly is one of the best dance artists of all time. She should breakthrough into the Hot 100 Top Ten with a more developed and progressive pop/electropop/dance-pop sound. It just works.

These R&B tracks will just sit on urban playlists. What a waste of talent.

I guess she could do a US only album, and then move the best tracks over to a new more global sounding International album, but why do American Kelly fans want to be treated as 2nd class?

She cant do both cause it polarizes her fan base and it wouldn't translate into album sales. As much as I want dance Kelly people need to see that Kelly pursuing an rnb direction is a business move that would

The dance Kelly is great for singles but it wouldn't sell a full album. A solid R&B album is more likely to see better sales overall, especially in the US. However I think she could stick to the same R&B/Dance formula for the UK if she decides to release a different version of the album here.

Why can't Kelly do an R&B AND pop album, like Beyonce or Keri Hilson?

Good marketing and single choices would sell the album.

So I think this is the single, they leaked it to see the reception and the feedback is IMMENSE, this is the most praised Kelly song ever. Let's hope this will turn into a HUGE success! I love that this captures the REAL Kelly, the Kelly from Ms. Kelly. During Ms. Kelly she wasn't as popular as she is now though, radio has been spinning all her three songs (ICE, Neva End, Representin') in the top 20 so they definitely will play this. This should be an anthem for all the girls!
