I know plenty of people struggle with their looks, including myself. but I just have a question. Is there really an "ugly" person? Like, someone that isn't attractive at all, or is beauty just subjective?
If you look up ugly on google images you get an idea of ugly.
It is subjective because we all have our own view of beauty. But in general the ideal beauty is a person that is symmetrical and exhibit feminine features.
looks are always subjective who you find gorgeous may be ugly to someone else. For example plenty of ppl find gisele bundchen breathtakingly gorgeous, but I don't find her attractive. Doesn't mean one person has bad taste or is wrong when it comes to other looks
While humans are biologically attracted to base physical traits such as secondary sex characteristics (hair, pheromones), physical symmetry, strength, Beauty, as we know it, is socially a constructed set of values that prioritize a certain image over others. I don't think I need to list examples of what is considered "beautiful" in western culture, just google the word.
