They were all fusions of other genres though. "Too Close" has wobble, but it's still very much rock-driven.
Lights is very... light, with influences of indie pop... It's not heavy EDM either.
And as far as House music goes, WFL is as light and pop-friendly as it can be.
Unique pop music though? I'm not discrediting Gaga at all, because she's a great songwriter, but Gaga's hits (RedOne produced) were were all comprised of musical tropes prominent throughout the Timbaland-era of pop music. RedOne literally stole instrumentals from Timbaland ("Maneater" to "Just Dance," etc.). Indeed, I'd say the castanets in BR were trademark-Timbaland.
Yes, RedOne makes her catchiest hits, but he is by far her least talented producer. And arguably, the worst pop producer currently. We look beyond it because it's Gaga, but his productions really are more basic than anything Luke or Max Martin has ever concocted.
Her best work so far has been with Garibay.
