I'm still not able to check August's rankings (September issue). I'm pretty sure "Set Fire to the Rain" remains at #1 on the Hot Pop Songs chart, so I'm using '4 months' at #1 for now,

Here, in Brazil, novels can make massive hits. SLY, Halo, SFTTR, Halo, IWKWLI are exemples. On the biggest TV channel (Globo) we have 4 novels almost everyday, but the biggest one is the 9 p.m. All that songs have been on their soundtracks. Now it's Video Games time. The soup opera is call Avenida Brasil and made Set Fire To The Rain a hit.

What will happen if Adele comes to Brazil (she gave an interview on canal globo last year in spring, that she would likely to come). Could she outsell the Estádio Municipal do Maracanã ?

September 2012 issue

In August, Brazilian star Luan Santana scores his 7th #1 song on the Brazil Hot 100 Airplay chart and also his 13th month atop the chart (more than any other artist). He's followed by Michel Teló and Mariah Carey: both topped Brazil's most important music chart for 6 months.

Adele tops the Hot Pop Songs (mostly international repertoire) chart for the 8th consecutive month ("Someone Like You" + "Set Fire to the Rain"). The singer holds the record for the most months atop the pop chart, and she's followed by Mariah Carey who topped the chart for 6 months.
