Some stupid Bey stans are really trying. They dont have anything else to bring in the argument, except the whole personal thing of Britney.
I say let them be.
No matter what...Beyonce is the queen of r&b (although they want her to take credit for pop and R&B she can't claim that...just r&b) for the 21st century and Britney is the queen of pop for the 21st century.
they are both leaders in their pack and stood the test of time.
they are both queen b's and actually like and respect one another.
Britney fans remain unbothered because we know the real tea. We already know that Beyonce is a better singer, better image, more artistic respect and CURRENTLY is a better dancer. Britney fans still have more epic, more originality, more trendsetting defining moments, memorable videos, performances, pop culture moments and music so that we don't feel insecure.
Beyonce fans come across low-key bothered because they know that no matter how many grammy's Beyonce has (and we don't need to get messy about the politics in that ) Beyonce will never have the impact, influence and most importantly SALES to catch up with Britney. I think they would like to boast about Beyonce being the most successful female artist of our generation;
I just remember being on the message boards when Britney was on her break and they were just sure that Beyonce was going to take her crown. Even when Beyonce swagger jacked her 2003 ama's look for her 2006 vma's look and took a few more looks from Britney, they felt it was a sign of the out with the old in with the new. However, Britney got in the way of that because when she was on break and after her breakdown she remains a hot commodity that still sells and breaks records every era. Also, with artist like Rihanna, Taylor Swift and maybe Adele coming up in the ranks things are catching up.
Beyonce pretty much has the other things on lock but will not catch up with Britney as Britney and Eminem are the lead female and male of 21st century by a landslide. Beyonce will need to release 1 or 2 more albums just to reach 14x platinum in the U.S in sum total. The Bey fans overinflate her sales and try to add DC3 sales when even Rihanna has outsold Beyonce worldwide. I mean there was a thread Bey fans dedicated to an inaccurate fact sheet from Pepsi claiming that their girls sold 100M albums...and they defended the lie. Had that been Rihanna or Britney shots would have been thrown and it wouldn't have remained open for longer than hours. They opened a Beyonce receipts thread with the same inaccurate fact sheet. The thirst.
Record breaking achievements
I mean, when Beyonce had her mama present an award and industry people talking about how much they liked her but they didn't show all of these Billboard related accolades like they did for :
-Janet, Michael Jackson, Cher, Madonna, Garth Brooks, Mariah Carey, Whitney etc.
They are salivating for Beyonce's new album to hit #1 so they can say Beyonce was the first to have her 1st 5 albums debut at #1. Something they can use over Britney.
Basically, until they are able to make Beyonce outsell, having more of what I said above then they will forever takes shots at Britney. they have been going harder on Rihanna fans too as of the last 3 years...do you see why? duh
