People from the north tend to have a "tell it how it is" mindset, we'll say whatever we want, we dont care if we come across as rude, but we speak our minds. We are very truthful with our words and dont hold anything back. Whereas I feel that people from the south are nice in front of you, but would talk about you behind your back, lots of suspicious personalities Ive dealt with down there, based from my experience.
I lived in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and New Jersey. Basically every part of the country excluding the far west.
People in Georgia are by far the most annoying here. The funny part is, most people here weren't even born in Georgia - they're from New Jersey, New York, etc.
Same when I lived in Florida. I feel like every single annoying ass person from the North lives down here.
I don't know. When I went to the US, I found the people in New York to be a little more upfront and direct. This was different from the places I went to in California, such as L.A. and San Francisco where everyone was really friendly and more helpful. I think it's just the lifestyle. Northerners are not really rude. Just more honest.
But while living in the northeast, I have met both nice and mean people.
