Skyfall is so awesome, I was just mindblown I loved everything about it, and Daniel Craig's performance was freaking amazing I agree with what you said, the story was plausible and not too complicated (like it has been the case in previous JB movies), yet suspenseful, with great direction and production. a flawless masterpiece
I'm ashamed to admit that the only ones I've seen are Dark Shadows and The Hunger Games. I mean, not even Skyfall. What is WRONG with me?
And all you had to do was ask, you know.
Thanks haha! Skyfall is incredible! You should see it.

Ugh, I agree with everything you said. It's definitely the best Bond film.
This was the first film of the year I saw, and the only 'components' I'd seen beforehand were Iron Man and Iron Man 2. In fact my seeing it was pretty spur-of-the-moment: my sister called up and was like "Do you want to see The Avengers tonight?" so I hesitantly agreed - this was the opening night too.
Amazing. Incredible. Brilliant. Idk how else to describe this film, it's simply marvellous. After seeing it I went and watched Captain America and Thor and loved those both, although Thor slightly more than the former.
I then saw The Avengers twice more (consecutively) about two weeks later, and I enjoyed it even more each time I saw it. The whole thing is just perfection; specifically the huge battle that occurs towards the end. Not to mention the film is hilarious.
For a long time I thought this would be my favourite film of the year, but I deliberated with this and my #1 and concluded I actually marginally prefer that one to this. Then #2 came along recently and obliterated The Avengers... In fact I still haven't decided which of the 2 should be my #1.
So I settled this one for #3 to avoid even more confusion. I can't wait for the second one, as well as Thor 2, Captain America 2, Iron Man 3 as well as The Justice League movie which I hope completely flops because Marvel > DC.

it is, at least from the new ones
and btw, this is the only movie I've seen this year (apart from Star Wars in 3D ) so that's the only one I could comment on
But nnn;; I still haven't watched it yet. It's sitting in my Downloads folder.
You need to see it!

That's okay! Skyfall alone is enough to compensate you for the rest of the year.
What's most amazing about The Avengers is that it even exists in the first place. I cannot believe that not only did we actually get an Avengers movie, it also completely rules!

That's surprising? I assumed with the run up including Iron Man, Thor and Captain America films it was pretty inevitable.
That being said, I didn't follow the series much before The Avengers came out. I'm just so glad I saw it when I had the chance!
I'll be finishing my Top 10 Movies of 2012 either on Christmas Day or Boxing Day and I've decided I can't decide which should be number 1 so I'm going to have both #1 and #2 as number 1!
Yes I'm lazy, but both do deserve to be there. I'll let you all know a.s.a.p.
