I think that things will be different when her contract is over since this is her last album with RCA.

She did more promo on X Factor than FF era.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean by what you saw.
Femme Fatale was generally rushed. Dr. Luke came in and changed the whole scheme of the album with her, and therefore the era itself had to be switched up. Nothing screamed "prepared". "Hold It Against Me" video not even being shot, no promo done for it January-March. No album title was even set til the month before, the final songs weren't even selected. "TTWE"'s quick release since "HIAM" stalled. The 2 promo spots. The quick decision to do a remix. The Twitter convo to remix "S&M". Enrique being announced as tour opener, same day he pulls out because it wasn't really negotiated.
The era was doomed because no plan was set in place. The only thing they had prepared was the fact there would be a tour, which came way too early in the era and had no significant hype at all.
That's why I don't see how anyone can expect for the promotion/marketing to be the same. It's like how fans keep saying Britney debuts high and falls fast when that ONLY happened with "HIAM". Her team wasn't ready, she wasn't ready (being sick and not completely in shape screams that), and us fans weren't ready for the upsets.
#era8 will undoubtedly have better concentration. Larry might be dried up when it comes to management, but he's still smart. Hello, see Circus' marketing. I'm sure they're aware of this album's performance and will work towards making sure the next one isn't as disastrous. RCA has nothing to do with how promotion/marketing comes out. They've done a great job in certifying FF, releasing singles at the appropriate times and basically not ****ing Britney over like they do Kelly, Avril, X, etc.
Also is there ANY receipt saying this is her last album?! I swear y'all have been saying this for Blackout, Circus, The Remixes 2, Femme Fatale.. basically EVERY type of material that has come out for her post-2003.
Sorry for 2/3 of the Bible there.
EDIT: And Britney will tour next album. Don't even ponder with the idea she won't. It's up to her to get fit and prove she can perform when it comes to demand.
